Tier 1 Frac Sand

Silica sand is the key to effective hydraulic fracturing. Proppants are a vital part of our process at Pontotoc, requiring special qualities to maximize gas output. They must be permeable and able to withstand high pressure and tough conditions. Poor quality proppant can lead to reduced yields or slowdowns in mines. Our Arkansas mine at Pontotoc produces three types: 100 mesh, 40/70 mesh, and 40/80 mesh, all guaranteed clean and reliable.

100 Mesh: Our 100 mesh proppant is the perfect choice to ensure a high-quality, consistent result. It surpasses American Petroleum Institute standards with superior crush strength and features excellent long-term conductivity and resistance to crushing. Its roundness helps reduce fining generation, while its 14,000 PSI strength can handle any stress.
40/70 Mesh: Our Pontotoc Sand & Stone’s Arkansas reserves give us access to top-notch 40/70 proppant sand. This fine product is characterized by superior sphericity, roundness, and resistance to crushing. Additionally, it has low acid solubility and turbidity, so little dust or debris is created. With its high silica content, you can expect exceptional crush performance and the ability to resist pressures up to 10K psi.
40/80 Mesh: Our 40/80 mesh proppant sourced from Arkansas exceeds all API standards for acid solubility and crushing. Benefits include: low acidity, high silica content to resist fracture closure up to 10,000 psi, and few dust and fines. It’s the perfect choice for your hydraulic fracing needs.

Crushed Limestone

At Pontotoc, we offer crushed limestone in a variety of sizes. Our process first begins at our quarry location in Arkansas.The material is then moved to the plant, broken down, sorted into different sizes for our customers, and stored with conveyor belts according to size. Quality control testing is done on each item before it leaves.

Stone Products: Limestone is crushed mechanically to create an angular rock. Our quarry-sourced solid rock is processed onsite into varying sizes, then carefully screened and separated into categories like one inch or four inches. Pontotoc also cleans rock options of the same size range.
Chips: Chipped limestone is an excellent base for roadways and foundations. Pontotoc’s products are hard, dust-free, and can help disperse weight. Clay or sand-based soils may require a sub-base like chipped limestone to create a level platform for concrete or asphalt on top of the local soil. It’s also added to cement as an aggregate for extra strength.
Screenings: Contractors rely on limestone screenings to provide a strong base for parking lots and driveways. This cost-effective material is easy to work with but holds moisture instead of draining like gravel. In areas with regular freezing and thawing, use Pontotoc’s material cautiously.
Rip Rap: Limestone rocks are perfect for forming seawalls. They can take on the force of waves, currents, and runoff. Rip rap is used, too; it helps shield boat docks, swimming spots, and more from dangerous tides. Pontotoc limestone rip rap in all sizes is essential when engineering shorelines. Industrial Sand

Pontotoc’s industrial sand is a special type of silica, constructed with high purity and strictly processed. Its main component is pure quartz from Permian layers, making it essential for many applications and industries outside oil and gas.

Ceramics: To avoid breakage during firing, silica or industrial-grade sand can be used to help withstand extreme temperatures. Pontotoc offers specialized ceramics sand that protects against fractures while making ceramics.

The Fastest Truck Loading Process in Arkansas
